Seasick Steve

just watching Later with Jools Holland.

This guy seasick steve is on there. when he sits he sways. looks pretty underdressed. really humble likeable guy. his album's called 'started out with nothing and still got most of it left'.

he's incredible.

plays blues like its coming from his soul, really grabs me.

once in a while you find music that really surpasses the instrument or words, and it comes right from within.

He has a searching heart. I wonder how he'd worship?

So this is what Donna and I would look like if we were livin it up in the mid 90's. I fell fowl to the chicken box, whereas Donna got Scrunch-happy. thanks to yearbookyourself.com for helping us see back into the past.

So what do you think? should we pursue the look?

Its 00:37 according to mac time. I'm sitting here totally bunged up, resorting to the classic tissue up my nostrils trick. it does work, although i sneezed earlier with no tissue in my nose and a piece of tissue came out. not a good sign, somethings not right.

Tonight we started our Homegroup, and unfortunately i couldn't do worship on account of this dose, but we did talk a lot about culture, the church, and how do we connect the two. ie engaging pop culture. and it finally came down to this.

Obey God's voice.

short. simple. to the point.
